Job Description
Understory Therapy is a small group practice on Vashon Island. We provide skills-based, evidence-based therapy for teens, young adults, and adults, in person and by telehealth across Washington state. We are hiring one associate clinician. What this role is You will carry your own caseload with real control over it. You decide how many clients you see and which populations you work with. You will receive weekly individual supervision toward full licensure from an Approved Clinical Supervisor, and training in evidence-based behavioral therapies. This is a W-2 employee position, not a contractor arrangement. You are paid per session held, including sessions clients no-show, so a cancelled appointment does not cost you income. Terms W-2 employment $60 per session You set your own schedule and caseload size Weekly individual supervision toward licensure Credentialing on Premera and Regence; additional panels coming Office space of your choosing, reimbursed Washington paid sick leave plus two weeks paid vacation We fill your caseload and handle the majority of administrative work Vashon Island or Seattle, plus telehealth anywhere in Washington You might be a good fit if You are licensed in Washington as an LMHCA, or are eligible for associate licensure You want collaborative supervision that sharpens your clinical skills You want to provide compassionate, evidence-based care You are interested in taking insurance You want flexibility to set your own hours To apply Send a résumé and a short note about why this caseload interests you to careers@understorytherapygroup.com.
