Job Description

Job Overview We are looking for a compassionate and committed Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) to join our growing team. In this role, you'll focus on evaluating and implementing behavioral intervention plans for individuals with autism and other developmental conditions. The right candidate will bring a passion for enhancing client outcomes using evidence-based methods and strong collaboration with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary professionals. Responsibilities Complete required monthly in-person supervision visits for clients and staff in the Virginia Beach area. Perform thorough behavioral assessments and diagnostic evaluations to identify client needs and tailor individualized treatment strategies. Utilize Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques to drive positive behavioral outcomes. Collect, review, and interpret data to ensure the efficacy of interventions, adjusting approaches as necessary. Work closely with educators, healthcare providers, therapists, and other team members to deliver comprehensive, coordinated care. Provide education and ongoing support to families and caregivers in implementing behavior management tools. Maintain detailed and timely documentation of client progress, treatment goals, and any revisions made throughout therapy. Keep current with advancements in behavioral health, educational practices, and related medical terminology. Provide ongoing supervision, training, and mentorship to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and Behavior Technicians (BTs) in accordance with BACB and payer requirements. Qualifications & Skills Strong knowledge of behavioral data collection and research methodologies. Experience supporting individuals with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental differences. Solid understanding of therapeutic and clinical care best practices. Proficiency in behavioral therapy techniques applicable in diverse real-life settings. Familiarity with medical language relevant to developmental and behavioral diagnoses. Prior involvement in special education settings is a plus. Ability to perform diagnostic evaluations with accuracy and professionalism. Advanced knowledge of ABA principles and clinical applications. Experience working directly with children is highly preferred. Current Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) certification in good standing through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) .
