Category Schools - Paraprofessional Job Type Contract Embark on a dynamic contract opportunity supporting young learners in an elementary classroom setting. As a valued paraprofessional, you'll play a key role in a collaborative environment, working closely with a team of teacher assistants to foster a positive, inclusive experience for students in grades K-3 with diverse needs, including language challenges and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). In this supportive, structured classroom of 11, you'll make a meaningful impact each day, assisting with both educational activities and essential personal care. This assignment begins ASAP and continues through June 18, 2027, with a steady schedule of 31.25 hours weekly.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in implementing individualized student learning and behavior plans under the guidance of classroom teachers and specialists Provide hands-on support with classroom activities and lessons, adapting materials for diverse learning needs Support students' personal care needs, including toileting and diaper changing when required Collaborate with six other attentive paraprofessionals, promoting a cohesive and cooperative classroom atmosphere Foster social and academic growth in students through encouragement, patience, and creative problem-solving

Desired Qualifications:
