Assists registered nurses in direct care of patients, specifically patients' activities of daily living. Insures a safe and therapeutic environment on the unit through observation monitoring, interacting and providing/assisting in groups. Duties & Responsibilities Bachelor's degree in any of the social sciences preferred and/or comparable behavioral health experience may be substituted for the degree requirement. Experience in working with mentally ill and/or developmentally delayed clients. Candidate must have excellent written skills. Excellent communication skills.

External candidates:

must have C.N.A certification.

Internal MHW candidates:

must have or complete C.N.A. certification within 6 months of accepting position.

Schedule:

36/72 Full Time Nights - Every Other Weekend Riverview 3 is a

General Treatment Unit Requirements Education:

College credits in any of the social sciences required. Bachelor's degree preferred.

Training and Experience:
