We are seeking Life Skills Aides for full-time, onsite contract positions running through the end of the school year. These roles involve working closely with students at the high school and middle school levels, providing essential support to help them succeed both academically and personally.

Desired Qualifications:

Valid Texas Educational Aide Certificate (Required) Proven experience as a paraprofessional, life skills aide, or behavior technician (especially in school settings) Confident managing behaviors and providing personal care support, including toileting Compassionate, patient, and adaptable approach to working with students with varying needs Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Key Responsibilities:

Assist students with daily tasks and learning activities as directed by certified staff Support students with personal care needs, ensuring dignity and respect at all times Help maintain a safe, structured, and engaging classroom environment Aid in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral interventions Collaborate with teachers and team members to best support each student's growth and success Record observations and communicate student progress and concerns as needed You'll work within a truly caring team environment, contributing meaningfully to students' lives each day. These contract positions are available immediately and run through late May 2027 in a dynamic school community. Experience as a paraprofessional or behavior tech in life skills classrooms will be prioritized. Candidates will be selected for prescreen interviews based on experience and qualifications.
