Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced dedicated and compassionate RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) Applied Behavior Analyst Therapist to join our team. This role involves providing behavioral therapy and support to children with developmental disabilities, including autism. The ideal candidate will work closely with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to implement individualized care plans, promote skill development, and improve overall quality of life. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children while gaining valuable experience in behavioral health and special education. Duties Implement evidence-based behavioral interventions based on applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles Assist children with activities of daily living (ADLs) to promote independence and functional skills Collect and record data on client progress and behavior during therapy sessions Support the development and execution of individualized treatment plans and care plans Collaborate with supervisors, families, and team members to ensure consistency in treatment approaches Maintain accurate medical documentation, records, and reports in compliance with HIPAA regulations Monitor clients' behavior management strategies and adjust interventions as needed Provide patient-centered care with sensitivity to medical terminology and health considerations Ensure a safe environment for clients by adhering to safety protocols and behavior management techniques Requirements Experience with behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), or working with children with developmental disabilities preferred Knowledge of working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and related conditions Strong skills in teaching, data collection, and behavior management strategies Ability to assist with ADLs and support clients' daily routines effectively Familiarity with special education practices, patient care, medical documentation, medical records, and medical terminology preferred Understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality of medical records and client information Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills for working with children, families, and team members Prior experience in behavioral health or related fields is a plus This position is ideal for individuals passionate about making a positive impact through specialized behavioral therapy while developing their expertise in the field.
