We are looking to add Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to our team that will contribute to our mission along with embodying the same values as us. Job Responsibilities The Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) will provide high-quality psychiatric care across our IOP/PHP and inpatient programs. The provider will work 3-4 days per week in the IOP/PHP program and provide coverage for the inpatient program on alternate weekends, with additional weekday coverage as needed. The PMHNP or PA will provide direct patient care, stabilize patients, minimize complications, provide physical and psychological support, facilitate restoration of maximal health potential, and evaluate health risk factors. They will perform diagnostic assessments, acquire health histories, perform examinations, prescribe, and manage psychiatric medications. Appropriately document medical interventions, including initial patient history, physical examination, review of current medications, labs and other relevant information from the patient's medical chart, clinical progress, and interventions, and collaboration with other applicable healthcare providers. Perform comprehensive mental health assessment and psychiatric evaluation, to include mental health status, current/history of violence, suicidal or self-harm behavior, substance use, trauma, sexual behaviors, and social/developmental history.

Job Type:

Part-time, Contract, PRN Benefits Providers will be compensated at fixed CPT rates for services provided in the IOP/PHP program and a fixed daily rate for inpatient coverage on weekdays and alternate weekends. Additional inpatient coverage, when needed, will be compensated at the applicable fixed daily rate. Education Master's Degree level Nurse Practitioner program with current National Board Certification and State of Employment license to practice in the Advanced Practice Nurse role Or in select states, Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies (or other health-related master's degree or equivalent experience together with Bachelor of Science in Physician Assistant Studies) with current National Board Certification and State of Employment license to practice in the role License/Certification Physician Assistant License (Required) Certified Nurse Practitioner (Required)
