This onsite position offers a competitive wage of $17.50-$22.17/hour and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of adults living with chronic mental illness. IRT provides residential care and treatment as an alternative to hospitalization, offering a structured, therapeutic environment where residents can access therapy, case management, medication management, nursing support, and assistance developing essential daily living skills. As an on-call Human Service Worker, you'll provide compassionate support and supervision while helping residents build independence, participate in structured activities, and continue progressing toward their recovery goals.

What You'll Do as a Human Service Worker Provide compassionate support, supervision, and encouragement to program participants. Assist residents with daily routines, living skills, and activities that promote independence. Facilitate structured activities and skills groups in a supportive environment. Assist with crisis intervention and help maintain a safe, structured, and therapeutic setting. Document client interactions, progress, and observations accurately and timely. Collaborate with therapists, supervisors, nursing staff, and other members of the treatment team. Model positive behaviors, healthy coping strategies, and effective communication. Support residents as they work toward their individualized treatment and recovery goals.
