This contract role blends the skillsets of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN), offering you the chance to use your clinical knowledge while fostering growth and independence among school-aged children.
Qualifications & Desired Background:
Active LPN license in good standing Training or experience in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), including implementation of behavior support plans Previous experience working with children or adolescents in school or clinical settings Ability to collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to support student needs Strong communication skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment CPR and First Aid certification preferred
Key Responsibilities:
Administer prescribed nursing care and medication according to school protocols Implement ABA strategies and monitor students progress toward behavior goals Collaborate with educational staff and therapeutic teams to adapt plans for individual student needs Collect data on behavior and health outcomes to aid in progress reporting Provide health education and support to students and school staff Respond to health, behavioral, and emergency situations in accordance with training and policies This contract opportunity allows you to broaden your expertise in both healthcare and behavioral intervention, working within supportive school communities.
