COMMUNITY HEALTH

ABOUT THE ROLE
Provide professional clinical care for office patients following established policies and procedures.
FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION
Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards. Performs certain lab tests. Takes and records patients vital signs, immunization status, and brief history. Maintains patient confidentiality. Cleans and autoclaves procedural equipment and instruments. Observes records and reports to physician patient's condition and reaction to drugs and treatments, according to the nursing process. Oversees appointment scheduling, assures priority is given to patients in emergency situations.
SKILLS REQUIRED FOR SUCCESS
We will accept Certified MA or non-certified MA. Medical Assistant Training is a plus. One year of professional experience preferred, preferably in an office setting. Lab expereince Preferred
