Job Description

Western Wisconsin Health is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant (0.9 FTE) to work in the Behavior Health department at the Baldwin Clinic. The MAs are key members of the health care delivery team responsible for flow of patients through the clinic. Responsibilities also include obtaining and verifying information from the patients to maximize provider's efficiency. The MAs assist providers to prepare for patient exams, treatments, and provide other support functions as directed. All of this is done to support the organization's mission while living our values.

Minimum Qualifications:
Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program CPR certification
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification as a Medical Assistant Prior experience with electronic medical records
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
Critical thinking skills (foresight to pre planning of visits) Exhibit excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to manage conflicting priorities and handle multiple tasks/projects concurrently Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and electronic medical records Maintain the integrity of highly confidential business information Display and promote high standards of ethical conduct and behaviors consistent with organizational standards
Work Schedule:
0.9 FTE
  • 72 hours per biweekly pay period Saturday Urgent Care rotation
  • 8am•2pm
