Family Centered Services of Alaska, Youth Residential Treatment Center. 3101 Lathrop Street, Fairbanks, AK 99701.
Position Title:
Mental Health Technician (MHT).
Shifts:
5pm-6am, rotating Schedule 3-4 days a week, 13 hrs per day. One weekend day required. 6am-6pm, rotating schedule 3-4 days a week, 12 hrs per day. one weekend day required. 9pm-7am, 4 days a week, 10 hrs per day. One weekend day required. 1:30pm-9:30pm, 5 days a week, 8 hrs per day. one weekend day required.

Full Time Job Summary:
This is an entry level position; seeking individuals that would enjoy working directly with Adolescents between the ages of 12-18 in a residential treatment center to role model, teach and supervise adolescents in a structured environment. Comprehensive paid training 2 1/2 week training provided to prepare new employees for success in our collaborative environment.
Requirements :
Must be currently in the state of AK -Local area, any out of state candidates will not be accepted. H.S. Diploma or Equivalent. 21 years of age. Must have a valid Driver's License. Must be able to provide a 3-5 year driving record with a clear driving history. Must pass a thorough a federal background check conducted by the State of Alaska Background Check department. Must be able to fulfill the physical aspects of the position, including but not limited to the ability to physically restrain clients as needed and lifting up to 40lbs. Must be willing to work a flexible work schedule, including weekends. Must have basic computer and typing skills. Full Benefits Package for

Employees only. Paid Time Off All Employees will receive a consideration for a pay increase after 90 days of employment. Full time employees earn 2 weeks of paid vacation during their first year of employment and will earn 4 weeks of paid vacation after one year of employment.
