Mental Health Technician Day Shift Supervisor Centers for Youth and Families, INC - 2.8 Little Rock, AR Job Details 14 hours ago Qualifications Working with individuals with mental health conditions Full Job Description Administrative Duties and Supervision of Staff 1) Will assist and provide specialization administrative support in development and implementation of EMAC/ EMCCs Strategic Plan for programming function. 2) The Shift Supervisor will assure frequent and adequate communication with the Program Director, relaying all pertinent information regarding: a) The students served within the facility b) Staff c) Programmatic Issues d) Facility upkeep e) Incidents or events that occur 3) Provides consultation, guidance and direction to QBHPs, Teachers, etc. in his/her assigned program. 4) Works cooperatively with co-workers and other agency staff. 5) Develop, maintain and ensure the shift schedule is created weekly on Home Base 6) Ensures the shift is appropriately staffed according to the capacity of
EMAC/ EMCC
(within ratio and not overstaffed) 7) Monitor attendance and call ins of staff on Home Base 8) Oversee new employee orientation of core and pool QBHP's 9) Provides feedback and participates in annual and probationary evaluations for staff supervised. 10) Monitors and addresses performance deficiencies, e.g. absenteeism, frequent errors, accidents, abuse allegations and is present during counseling/disciplinary meetings with the Program Director and employee according to policy. 11) Ensures staff are completing documentation in a thorough and timeline manner including but not limited to: a) Communication Log b) Continuous Observation Log c) Shift Notes 12) Ensures and implements the Restraint Reduction Initiative by assisting with special procedures, i.e., seclusions, restraints, etc., and initiates and follows departmental protocols in emergency situations. 13) Conduct and document monthly fire drills and quarterly severe weather drills This position is deemed safety-sensitive Minimum of 21 years of age Bachelors degree preferred in specialized area supervised or related field or experience in lieu of degree. Experience should be focused in mental health and related field, for at least 6 months.
