Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and attentive Mental Health Monitor to join our dedicated team. In this vital role, you will provide direct support to individuals with diverse mental health needs, including those with developmental disabilities, neurodevelopmental disorders, and substance use challenges. Your primary focus will be on ensuring a safe, supportive environment while assisting with behavioral management, crisis intervention, and patient care. This paid position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring specialized behavioral health services. Duties Monitor and support individuals during daily activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Conduct behavioral assessments and implement behavior intervention plans based on applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques Assist with intake procedures, documenting medical history, vital signs, and behavioral observations accurately in electronic health records (EHR) systems Support clients with autism spectrum disorders (ASD), PTSD, and other mental health conditions through de-escalation techniques and crisis management strategies Administer medication as prescribed, maintaining detailed medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality standards Collect data related to client behaviors, progress notes, and treatment outcomes to inform ongoing care plans Collaborate with social workers, healthcare professionals, and family members to coordinate comprehensive client care and ensure effective communication Qualifications Experience working with children and youth in mental health or behavioral health settings Knowledge of working with individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorders and neurodevelopmental disorders Proven skills in crisis intervention, de-escalation techniques, and crisis management protocols Familiarity with medication administration procedures and medical terminology Ability to operate EMR/EHR systems for accurate documentation of patient care and medical records Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality at all times Experience working with individuals with substance use disorders or addiction counseling background is a plus Certification in First Aid and CPR required or willing to obtain upon hire Excellent client communication skills combined with compassionate patient care approach Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations while maintaining professionalism and empathy Join us in creating a safe space where individuals can thrive! Pay:
