Responsibilities Monitor and document patient behaviors, progress, and responses using precise medical records and data collection methods. Implement behavior management strategies and applied behavior analysis techniques to support behavioral goals. Conduct intake assessments and assist with medical documentation to ensure accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Respond promptly to crises or emergencies with effective crisis intervention and crisis management skills to maintain safety for all clients. Support individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, PTSD, or addiction by providing tailored care plans and social work support. Measure vital signs and observe medical terminology to accurately report health status to clinical teams. Qualifications Knowledge of crisis intervention, crisis management, and behavior management techniques is essential. Ability to perform medical tasks such as vital signs measurement and medication administration accurately. Strong understanding of medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance. Excellent communication skills for effective patient care and collaboration within multidisciplinary teams. Certification in applied behavior analysis (ABA), addiction counseling, or related fields is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided if necessary.
