Shift Details:

Night Shift Mental Health Sitter Duties & Responsibilities:

Provide continuous observation and supervision of assigned patients. Maintain a safe environment and monitor for unsafe or high-risk behaviors. Observe and report changes in behavior, mood, or mental status to nursing staff. Provide calm, respectful, and supportive interaction with patients. Help prevent falls, wandering, self-harm, or other unsafe behaviors. Follow suicide precautions, behavioral health protocols, and facility policies. Maintain patient dignity, privacy, confidentiality, and professional boundaries. Document observations and promptly report emergencies or safety concerns. Follow infection control and workplace safety procedures. Minimum Qualifications Current, valid, and unrestricted AZ license/certification in good standing, as required for the position. Minimum of 1 year of recent experience as a MHS . Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.
