The CHOICE Program is seeking dedicated Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs) or Para Professionals to support clients in a structured, therapeutic day program environment. About the CHOICE Program The CHOICE Program is a year-round behavioral health day program designed to support youth who need structured therapeutic intervention while maintaining academic progress. Our program integrates individualized behavioral health treatment, group therapy and skill-building, community-based therapeutic experiences, a structured therapeutic milieu, and an academic component delivered through self-paced distance learning platforms ensuring clients remain engaged in their education while receiving the behavioral health services they need. Treatment planning is individualized, with curriculum and interventions aligned to each client's specific treatment goals. What You'll Do Supervise and ensure safety Facilitate groups, activities, and skillbuilding sessions Support treatment goals and behavior plans Assist with documentation and case coordination Provide crisis intervention when needed Support academics (CHOICE) Participate in recreation and movementbased activities (Therapeutic Rec) Collaborate with clinical and program teams What You Bring Experience with atrisk youth or behavioral health populations Strong communicationdocumentation skills Ability to manage group dynamics Comfort with structured environments Willingness to learn crisis intervention Minimum Qualifications Meet state licensing requirements for BHTs/Para Professionals 21+ years old High School Diploma or GED Valid AZ Driver's Licenseinsurable driving record Must be able to obtain an AZ DPS Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card (Unrestricted) All qualified applications will receive consideration for open positions with NHCC.
