Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 7:30-6:30. Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to: Degree/Education High School Diploma or equivalent. Qualifying licensure, certification, or proof of graduation from/completion of an accredited or equivalent Psychiatric Technician training program/school IAW Exhibit 5.
Experience:
12 months' experience as a Psychiatric Technician after graduation. Experience in administering, scoring, and reporting on standardized psychological screenings. Experience in conducting clinical interviews to obtain biopsychosocial histories. Demonstrated knowledge of common psychiatric and addictive disorders, therapeutic communication techniques, and milieu management. Proficiency in computer operations, including electronic health records and relevant office software. Certifications in addition to Basic Life Support No additional certifications required. Direct Patient Support & Safety Conduct patient interviews, obtain vital signs, observe and monitor patient behavior, reporting all findings to the licensed provider. Administer, score, and report on standardized psychological screenings under the direct supervision of a licensed provider. Co-facilitate psychoeducational groups, assist with patient education, and help manage the therapeutic milieu to ensure a safe and structured environment. Implement all safety protocols, recognize and report escalating behaviors, and assist the clinical team in crisis response. Documentation & Team Collaboration Ensure all patient interactions, observations, and administered screenings are documented accurately and in a timely manner in the electronic health record. Actively participate in interdisciplinary meetings, provide observational data and feedback, and assist with coordinating continuity of care, as directed.
Pay:
$30.00 - $40.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
