The BHT plays an important role in maintaining a safe, structured, and supportive environment for clients in early recovery. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working directly with clients, understands professional boundaries, communicates well with the treatment team, and can handle the day-to-day responsibilities of a residential treatment setting. Kipu EMR experience is preferred. A valid driver's license and current RADT or equivalent SUD registration/certification are required. Responsibilities Provide direct supervision and support to clients in detox and residential treatment. Maintain a safe, structured, and recovery-focused environment. Complete regular client rounds and document observations accurately and on time. Monitor client behavior and immediately report changes or concerns to appropriate clinical or medical staff. Complete shift notes, incident documentation, and other required documentation in Kipu EMR . Support clients with daily schedules, groups, meals, medications, appointments, and recovery activities. Facilitate or monitor approved recovery-focused activities within the employee's scope of practice. Conduct client belongings searches and admission/discharge procedures according to program policy. Assist with drug and alcohol testing procedures as assigned and permitted by program policy. Transport clients to medical appointments, meetings, outings, and other approved destinations. Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety of the residential environment. Perform safety checks and immediately report environmental or client safety concerns. Assist with client meals and basic household responsibilities as needed. Maintain appropriate professional boundaries with clients at all times. Protect client confidentiality and follow

Part 2, and company policies . Communicate effectively during shift changes and provide accurate handoff information. Respond appropriately to emergencies, behavioral concerns, and clients who may be at risk of leaving AMA. Work collaboratively with case managers, therapists, nursing staff, admissions, and program leadership. Perform additional duties as assigned by program leadership. Requirements Current RADT or equivalent SUD registration/certification required. Valid driver's license required. Must be able to safely transport clients when assigned. Ability to pass required background and employment screenings. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to maintain professional boundaries and client confidentiality. Dependable attendance and punctuality. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team. Comfortable working with individuals experiencing substance use disorders and co-occurring behavioral health concerns. Preferred Qualifications Previous BHT experience in detox, residential, or substance use disorder treatment preferred. Kipu EMR experience preferred. Experience with client rounds, shift documentation, admissions, discharges, and transportation. Current CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
