Assistant Director Position Summary:

We are seeking a reliable, compassionate, and vigilant Overnight Technician to join our team at a small, six-bed residential drug rehabilitation facility. This role is crucial to maintaining a safe, structured, and supportive environment for our clients during the overnight hours. The ideal candidate is observant, calm under pressure, and committed to client safety and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct routine room checks and perimeter checks in accordance with facility protocols. Monitor and document client behavior, sleep patterns, and any unusual activity during the night. Complete medication audit and inventory Ensure the facility remains clean, quiet, and secure overnight. Respond to client needs or emergencies promptly and appropriately, including de-escalation when necessary. Administer drug and alcohol tests (UAs/BAs) as needed. Complete detailed and accurate shift reports and incident documentation. Communicate effectively with clinical staff and contribute to client handoff reports. Adhere to all policies regarding client confidentiality, ethical standards, and safety procedures.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required; some college coursework in psychology, addiction studies, or a related field preferred. RADT (Registered Alcohol and Drug Technician) or equivalent Prior experience in a residential treatment, behavioral health, or crisis setting strongly preferred. CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire). Must be able to stay awake and alert for the duration of the shift. Ability to remain calm in crisis situations and exercise sound judgment. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Must pass a background check and drug screening.

Schedule:

11:00 pm - 7:30am Includes weekends and holidays as needed.
