Job Description

Job Summary:
•We are seeking a dedicated Detox Tech/ Behavorial Health Tech. Staff is responsible for the shift-by-shift supervision of the client milieu and attending to client's essential needs while on detoxification protocols.
Job Duties:
Completion of all basic Client supervision duties and/or documentation within Program and timelines Client rounds, checking vitals and documentation in KIPU Responsible to read shift log at beginning of shift and complete their own shift log and essential tasks contained therein by conclusion of shift Complete new admission intake procedures according to Program policies on all new admissions (UA, belongings searches, paperwork) Assessing client withdrawal symptoms (completion of
CIWA, COWS
forms, vital signs, rounds) Medications for clients in accordance to Program and guidelines (medication observation) Remain in compliance with HIPPA Filing, making copies, other office duties as assigned Will assist with household chores and help with the overall functioning of the facility (general cleanliness and safety of the house) which includes but is not limited to laundry, dishes, inventory and maintain cleanliness of rooms and common areas throughout the facility (sweeping and mopping). Other duties as assigned Minimum requirements for position are: RADT certified Physical, TB test, Drug Screen, able to present in a professional fashion orally and physically, maintain and uphold strong boundaries while having a therapeutic manner. If recovering from substance abuse, must have at least one year of continuous sobriety. Knowledge of 12 step base recovery a plus but not mandatory. Pay scale will be determined by experience and education
Pay:
$19.00 - $22.00 per hour People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply
