Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Detox Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to join our dynamic behavioral health team. In this vital role, you will provide essential support to individuals undergoing detoxification and behavioral health treatment, ensuring a safe, supportive, and structured environment. Your expertise will help clients navigate their recovery journey by implementing evidence-based interventions, monitoring vital signs, and maintaining strict confidentiality of patient information. Schedule Requirements Saturday and Sunday are required Three additional days during the week 40 hours per week Flexible availability during weekday shifts preferred Duties Provide direct support and supervision to clients in a detox and residential setting. Conduct client rounds and maintain accurate documentation. Transport clients to approved outings and appointments. Maintain a valid driver's license and safe driving record. Observe and document vital signs as directed by nursing staff. Observe medication administration as assigned and within the scope of the position. Complete accurate documentation in Kipu . Follow Joint Commission standards and facility policies. Maintain a safe, clean, and structured environment. Communicate effectively with nursing, clinical, and operations staff. Maintain professional boundaries with clients. Assist with daily facility operations and other duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous detox or residential treatment experience required . BHT, MHT, Recovery Specialist, or similar behavioral health experience preferred. Valid California driver's license and safe driving record required. Experience transporting clients and conducting outings. Experience conducting rounds and monitoring clients. Ability to observe and document vital signs. Knowledge of medication observation procedures. Kipu experience strongly preferred. Knowledge of Joint Commission standards preferred. Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills.
