We provide a structured, accountable, and compassionate environment that supports long-term recovery through evidence-based practices, experiential programming, and strong human connection. We are building a professional, mission-driven team and are seeking Behavioral Health Technicians / Recovery Support Staff to serve as frontline staff in our residential program. Learn more about us at www.recoverynexus.com Position Overview Behavioral Health Technicians play a vital role in maintaining a safe, structured, and supportive recovery environment. This position involves direct resident interaction, safety monitoring, documentation, transportation support, and reinforcing program expectations. This is not a therapy or counseling role. It is a professional, responsibility-heavy position requiring emotional maturity, reliability, and strong boundaries. Key Responsibilities Supervise and support residents in a residential recovery setting Maintain safety, structure, and accountability at all times Conduct room checks, head counts, and facility walkthroughs Transport residents to appointments, groups, and activities (as assigned) Document observations, incidents, and shift notes accurately De-escalate situations calmly and professionally Model healthy communication, boundaries, and behavior Collaborate effectively with clinical and leadership team

Qualifications Required:

High school diploma or GED Ability to pass background check Ability to pass pre-employment screening and participate in random drug and alcohol testing in accordance with company policy Strong communication skills and emotional regulation Reliability, professionalism, and sound judgment Must be 25+

Years Old Preferred:
