Full Job Description Mission Statement:

Sobriety House, Inc. is a state-licensed, nonprofit, substance use disorder treatment provider dedicated to offering high quality and effective services through an extensive continuum of care to support clients in lifelong recovery, regardless of ability to pay. Sobriety House is a nonprofit organization in Denver, CO that offers Intensive Residential Treatment (IRT), Transitional Residential Treatment (TRT), and Outpatient (IOP and Traditional) treatment for those with substance use disorders. Job Description Oversee daily on campus operations based out of the Behavioral Health Technician office at one of the three Sobriety House campuses (all within a few miles of each other). This role operates under the direction of the Lead Behavioral Health Technician and Clinical Lead and supports a safe structured and recovery focused environment for clients. This is a full time position. Some weekend availability is required. Essential Job Functions Client Care- 80% Maintain smooth safe and consistent daily campus operations Collaborate with clients to support daily living needs while promoting autonomy through a client centered approach Monitor medications UA and BA and complete all required documentation Conduct client intakes and orientation for new clients Issue client write ups for program rule violations in coordination with the Lead Behavioral Health Technician and Clinical Lead Participate in weekly staff meetings Facilitate house meetings as assigned by the Lead Behavioral Health Technician Communicate regularly with clinical staff and the Clinical Lead regarding client behavior progress and concerns Monitor and assess client chores daily Conduct nightly bed checks Track and monitor weekly client Twelve Step meeting attendance Maintain accurate communication and shift logs while on duty Enter client information into the electronic health record daily Operations- 20% Organize and conduct monthly fire drills in coordination with the Lead Behavioral Health Technician Transport clients to and from Sobriety House properties social recreational activities and Twelve Step meetings as approved Performs other related duties as assigned by the

Executive Director, Clinical Lead, or Lead BHT Requirements:

If in recovery from substance dependency, the candidate must have at least one year of continuous sobriety Education High school diploma or equivalent required. Relevant training or coursework in behavioral health human services or related field preferred. Experience Experience working in residential treatment behavioral health or recovery focused environments preferred. Special Qualifications Valid driver license required Ability to be approved and remain eligible for inclusion on Sobriety House's vehicle insurance Ability to safely transport clients as needed Flexibility to work at multiple Sobriety House locations as needed Availability to work some weekend shifts Willingness to obtain QMAP certification within a required timeframe following hire CPR and First Aid certification required or obtained within required timeframe Must pass background check and drug screening HIPAA Statement Maintain sensitive and confidential employee and client information in accordance with HIPAA policy and all facility policies. Responds as required to support public health emergencies incidents and events. Participates in emergency preparedness drills and exercises as required. Completes required emergency preparedness training. Responds promptly in emergency situations to meet client needs. Working Conditions Equipment Used Standard office equipment including computer hardware and software telephone copier calculator and fax. Facility equipment used in accordance with federal and state guidelines and facility policy. Environment Work is primarily conducted indoors with occasional travel to other locations or outside agencies. The position involves routine exposure to the activity and noise of a residential treatment environment and frequent interaction with individuals who may be emotionally distressed or in crisis. May be exposed to blood or other bodily fluids. Physical Requirements Physical Must be able to walk, stand, and sit for extended periods. Must occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb, reach, twist, grasp, and perform repetitive hand movements. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and operate assigned equipment and vehicles. Must be able to verbally communicate clearly. Vision Normal visual range with or without correction. Hearing Normal audio range with or without correction.
