In this role, you will work closely with individuals experiencing neurodevelopmental disorders and intellectual disabilities, providing essential behavioral support and ensuring their safety and well-being. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference every day while developing valuable skills in behavioral health services. Duties Assist individuals with daily routines, personal care, and behavioral interventions tailored to their needs Implement behavior management plans under supervision, promoting positive behaviors and reducing challenging behaviors Support clients during therapeutic activities, skill-building exercises, and community outings Monitor clients' health and safety, responding promptly to emergencies using certified first aid and CPR techniques Document progress notes, behavioral observations, and incident reports accurately and consistently Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and adjust individualized care plans Support neurodiverse individuals by applying specialized strategies for intellectual disabilities and neurodevelopmental support Experience Prior experience working with individuals from underserved communities or diverse backgrounds is highly valued Demonstrated knowledge of supporting individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders or intellectual disabilities is preferred Certification in CPR and first aid is required; additional certifications in behavioral support are a plus Experience in implementing behavior intervention plans or similar therapeutic strategies is advantageous Strong communication skills, patience, empathy, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team are essential Join us in creating a nurturing environment where every individual receives the respectful care they deserve. Pay:
$15.00 - $17.00 per hour
