Job Description

We are seeking an energetic, compassionate, and resilient individual to provide part or full-time overnight assistance in operations at our 6 MEN'S recovery residences located in Boynton Beach and Delray Beach. We have been FARR certified for 13 years and offer more than just housing - our residences serve as extended care programs focusing on life skills, case management, 12-step facilitation, holistic and spiritual approaches to recovery, and mental health support. Our team operates like a family, deeply passionate about what we do, yet we maintain rigorous procedures and processes due to the sensitive nature of our work. We cover up to $800 per year for job-related certifications and encourage all operations staff to become recovery residence administrators. For the Overnight Recovery Advocate position, we offer $20/hour for the first 30 days, with potential increases to $21-$22/hour based on performance. Shifts are 8 hours long, from Midnight to 8am. Overnight Recovery Advocate Responsibilities:
(Bold items are specific to overnights) Bed check rounds of all 6 houses within the first 90 minutes of your shift. Three full driving rounds of all properties throughout the 8-hour shift . Treat residents with warmth and compassion to build trust and rapport. Provide emotional support during crises while maintaining boundaries. Conduct regular rounds and inspections to ensure safety, cleanliness, and adherence to house rules. Maintain house inventory, deliver and provide supplies, and report maintenance needs. Additional maintenance tasks such as cleaning out vacuums, dryer vents, assist with washing/drying bedding, etc. Check cameras to see if anyone isn't completing their chores and report to management. Address non-compliance by issuing consequences or creating behavior plans. Administer regular drug tests, breathalyzers, and monitor resident medication schedules, documenting any changes or concerns. Maintain strict adherence to safety, drug testing, and medication management protocols. Refilling client medication caddys, and doing medication counts. Respond to relapses, conflicts, or emergencies according to Arch's crisis protocols. Prepare and submit incident reports for medical issues, relapses, or behavioral concerns. Coordinate with case managers and clinicians regarding medication-related or safety concerns. Maintain open communication with case managers, clinicians, and leadership, sharing updates on residents' progress and challenges. Provide consistent communication from start of shift to end of shift - no gaps. Submit daily updates, maintenance needs, and incident reports via Behave haealth WhatsApp chat. Attend regular staff meetings, operational check-ins, and training sessions. Participate in ongoing development opportunities to improve job performance. Manage tasks using the Todoist system, ensuring timely completion and proper documentation. Reassign pending tasks and document completed ones as needed. Professional and supportive dialogue in staff and house chats.
