The ideal candidate will provide direct patient care, support behavioral health interventions, and assist in managing patients with various mental health conditions. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals facing mental health challenges, including those with developmental disabilities, autism, PTSD, and addiction issues. The position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, patient care procedures, and behavioral management strategies within a clinical setting. Duties Monitor and observe patients' behaviors to ensure safety and well-being Assist with intake assessments and medical documentation while maintaining HIPAA compliance Administer medications as prescribed and document medication administration accurately Conduct vital signs measurements and record data for medical records Implement behavior management plans and applied behavior analysis techniques Support patients with special needs, including those with autism or developmental disabilities Provide crisis intervention and crisis management during emergencies or behavioral episodes Engage in social work activities such as patient education and emotional support Collect data related to patient progress and behavioral health outcomes Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans Assist with activities of daily living and patient care routines Skills Experience working with children, individuals with developmental disabilities, or behavioral health populations preferred Strong crisis intervention and crisis management skills Knowledge of addiction counseling, PTSD care, autism spectrum disorders, and special education strategies Ability to perform medical procedures such as vital signs measurement and medication administration Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and healthcare documentation standards Excellent communication skills for working effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams Ability to handle sensitive information in accordance with HIPAA regulations Proficiency in data collection, behavior management techniques, and applied behavior analysis methods Compassionate attitude with a focus on patient-centered care and behavioral health support This position provides an impactful career opportunity for individuals passionate about mental health services.
