(Aspire), is a non-profit 501(c)3 behavioral healthcare organization. Aspire Health Partners is Florida's largest Behavioral Health Non-Profit that provides a full continuum of behavioral healthcare services across six (6) Central Florida Counties; Brevard, Hillsborough, Lake, Orange, Osceola and Seminole. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting individuals with diverse mental health needs, including those with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, PTSD, and addiction issues. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in clients' lives through direct patient care, behavioral support, and crisis management. Summary As a Mental Health Technician at Aspire Health Partners, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with behavioral health challenges. This position is essential in implementing treatment plans and providing direct support to clients, helping them aspire to healthier and more independent lives.
Acute Care:
12 Hour Shifts - Rotating Schedule - $16 an hour Responsibilities Documentation of Close Observations/Q15 Checks Provide direct care and support to clients with various mental health conditions, ensuring their safety and well-being. Assisting therapy and nursing staff in group activities and daily management of the unit. Makes rounds of entire unit while observing clients as needed. Maintains all Constant Observations/Q15 Checks and records accurately every 15 minutes. Assist Nursing Staff to carry out prescribed treatments when needed. Assist clients in personal care and hygiene. Completing Admission search and paperwork including an inventory of all client belongings to be signed by two (2) staff members and client. Comply with and be familiar with unit rules and regulations as well as all policies and procedures. Providing supervised self-administration of medication, when applicable, for participants. Maintaining & monitoring social activities of clients, including visitations, as directed by the Clinical or Nursing Manager. Qualifications Level II Background Clearance - All Aspire Health Partners Internships and Careers require Level 2 clearance, with Aspire covering fingerprinting costs.
