Full Job Description Location:
Pembroke Pines, Florida Memorial Rehabilitation Institute provides highly specialized care ranging from complex multiple trauma, stroke and brain injury to physical and speech therapy. Inpatient care is offered at Memorial Regional Hospital South, with outpatient care available in five different locations. We also have a home health team and resources for long-term care at Memorial Manor, while also offering therapy for pediatric developmental diagnosis through Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital.Summary:
Provides patient care and clerical support as needed to support clinical staff.Responsibilities:
Performs office support functions including inventory maintenance, temperature logs, stocking, filing, scheduling and answering phones.Assists clinical staff with preparing patients for therapy.
Maintains treatment area in a clean, safe and organized condition. Cleans and maintains therapy equipment and supplies.
Assists with the movement, support, lifting and transport of patients before, during and after therapy.
Assists during treatment sessions under the direct supervision of the therapist.
