As a Secure Transporter, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and secure transportation of individuals who are under the Florida Mental Health Act "AKA" (Baker Act), the Marchman Act, or voluntary status. You will be responsible for transporting patients both locally and long distances while maintaining the highest standards of care by providing dignity and respect. Many of these patients reside in healthcare facilities, hospitals, behavioral health inpatient units, correctional facilities, long-term residential programs. You will work also work alongside Law Enforcement on specific calls . In this role, you will be expected to provide safe, secure, and compassionate transportation while ensuring compliance with all legal and procedural requirements. Maintaining professionalism in high-stress situations is essential, as you will be working closely with medical and behavioral health professionals to ensure a seamless transition for patients. All transportation is conducted using specially equipped vehicles designed for the safety of both the transporter and the individuals in care. Qualifications & Requirements:

• Be at least 25 years of age (for insurance eligibility)
• Successfully pass a Level 2 background screening Have a background in one or more of the following fields: Mental health Security Officer/ Guard/ Police Officer Background/Corrections Officer Emergency Medical Technician / Paramedic (EMT/PMD) Patient Care Technician (PCT) Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) (CBHT) Emergency Room (ER) Technician
• Pay Rates Are Based On Experience In Related Field(s) Such As EMS , Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) (CBHT) Or Related Mental Health Services.

Our downtown Stuart office offers a comfortable, home-like environment where you can relax between transport assignments. • $1,000 sign-on bonus, paid out quarterly. To qualify for the bonus, you must remain employed with the organization for 90 days without any disciplinary actions, as outlined in the contract for the bonus program and you must be a full time employee.

Pay:
