Pay Rate:
$16.80/hour (Shift differentials for nights and weekends)

Job Description A psychiatric/behavioral health facility is seeking a dedicated Secure Tech to join their team. In this role, you will provide basic patient care while ensuring the safety and security of the facility. You will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and play a key role in supporting patients with daily living skills and maintaining a secure therapeutic environment. Responsibilities Provide basic patient care and assist with daily living skills Take vital signs under the direction of a Registered Nurse Monitor and patrol premises to prevent theft, violence, and rule violations Respond to emergencies including fires or hazardous situations Conduct searches of new individuals and document belongings in EMR Orient individuals to the unit, including schedules and expectations Monitor behavior and report changes to nursing staff Complete accurate documentation of patient activities and assessments Perform safety checks (Q15, 1:1, LOS as required) Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) Facilitate group activities per facility policy Monitor for contraband and enforce safety policies Secure facility doors, exits, and windows as required Respond promptly to alarms and incidents Participate in shift reports and communication handoffs Perform additional duties as assigned Requirements Experience in a security-related role (Required) Experience working with mental health or substance abuse populations (Preferred) Must be 21 years of age or older Valid Driver's License High school diploma or equivalent Fingerprint-based background check (Georgia & Federal) Drug screen Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for the past 7 years Current Auto Insurance What is our culture?
