We are currently seeking a Full-time Mental Health Specialist 7am.-7pm. and 7pm. - 7am . The ideal Mental Health Specialist candidate will have previous experience working in an inpatient psychiatric unit and can use proper judgement in fast-paced environment. The responsibilities of the Mental Health Specialist include, but are not limited to: Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse Monitor patient vitals Facilitate therapeutic CBT group sessions Provide crisis intervention Stabilize and redirect patients 15 minute rounding throughout the unit to maintain a safe and therapeutic environment Assure compliance with applicable laws pertaining to behavior health in-patient care Maintain all patient documentation Includes assisting patients in Activities of Daily Living (bathing, shaving, toileting, etc.)
