Sinnissippi Centers currently has an opening for part-time Residential Apartment Support at our Parks Place Apartments. These individuals make it their mission to ensure the comfort and safety of each client. They interact with adults with serious mental illness who serve as their own guardians and spend day-in and day-out focused on helping their clients succeed. They see them at their best and at their worst. Their relationship is one of mutual respect and admiration. Apartment sites are staffed on a 24/7.
This shift is for:
Week 1 - Saturday and Sunday 12:00am-8:00am; Week 2 - Thursday and Sunday 12:00am-8:00am.
Objectives:
Participates in the implementation of interdisciplinary treatment plans. Continuously observes, evaluates, and communicates clients' responses to therapeutic activities and reports changes or unusual occurrences. Supervises and participates with clients in group or individual recreational, social, and related activities. Ensures client hygiene, grooming, activities of daily living, and nutrition to support client independence and overall recovery. Demonstrates ability to display compassion empathy, and calmness in all situations, including stressful interactions with clients. Assist in activities of daily living skills and teaching activities. Medication monitoring. Assists individuals in the pursuit of recreational, social and community activities based on their preferences and individual plans. Support people to achieve personal outcomes that characterize a high quality of life.
Requirements:
High School diploma or GED. Experience in a helping role is required. Must be at least 21 years of age. Ability to pass criminal/registry background checks. Willingness to help others and make a difference every day.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience and or knowledge of Mental Health. Positive Communication Skills. Compassion, Reliability & Dedication. Desire to make a difference. Ethical and moral values. Professionalism.
Pay:
