Rehabilitation Tech Catholic Care Center - 3.1 Bel Aire, KS Job Details $17.00 - $20.40 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Computer operation Employee relationship building High school diploma or GED Relationship management Productivity software Cross-functional collaboration Cross-functional communication Full Job Description Position Summary The Rehabilitation Tech assists the therapists and assistants with patient related activities and direct patient care. The Rehabilitation Tech may assist with treatments only when under the direct supervision of a therapist.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist the therapist and assistant in clerical, patient, client, and team member related duties. Participate in department meetings and in facility meetings as assigned. Perform clerical work as directed, including computerized activities. Answer and direct phone calls. Develop and maintain a filing system. Assist with treatment as directed by therapist. Coordinate work activities with members of other departments and other staff within the rehabilitation department. Provide general support to visitors. Transport patients as scheduled to and from treatment areas. Prepare patients for treatment. Assist patients, clients, and team members with particular issues or needs. Participate in facility performance improvement programs. Report any unusual incidents to Director of Rehab. Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the treatment areas and department. Assist with maintaining an adequate stock of supplies and equipment. Carries out functional maintenance programs as needed. Other duties as assigned. Management Responsibilities N/A Education and/or Experience High School Diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience in patient/resident care in a nursing center, hospital or rehabilitation center preferred. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) in the state in which employed preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Must possess strong collaborative, interpersonal, organizational, multi-tasking, verbal and written communication skills, and a desire to create a high-performance, effective team that can produce consistent, demonstrated results. Must demonstrate on an ongoing basis the ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with co-workers and ministry leadership. Competencies needed for this position include strong interpersonal relationship skills, detail oriented, work in collaboration with others, demonstrate a high degree of integrity and personal commitment, possess strong analytical skills, be able to work independently and manage multiple deliverables at the same time. Ability to function in a matrix environment and demonstrate a passion to succeed, be self-motivated, dependable, committed, and a willingness to see a project through to its conclusion. Working knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Office is required.
