Full-time Job Description :
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behavioral Health Technician to join our team. We have 12 openings for a Full-Time Morning shift (7am to 3pm ) and Evening shift (3pm to 11pm). You will provide essential care and support to youth with behavioral health needs. Responsibilities include assisting with daily activities, maintaining a safe and supportive environment, and responding to crisis situations while adhering to the highest standards of care.
Responsibilities :
Assist youth with daily living activities, ensuring their safety and well-being. Monitor and report youth behavior accurately and consistently. Support youth during recreational and structured activities. Use appropriate de-escalation techniques when managing challenging behaviors. Respond effectively to crisis situations, including when a youth is missing or goes AWOL, following proper protocols. Maintain clear and accurate documentation of interactions and behaviors. Collaborate with staff to create a safe, structured, and caring environment. Follow established guidelines to ensure compliance with safety and care standards. Implement FYC policies and adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures, partake in our monthly training for compliance and abide by all contractual terms, rules, statues and regulations. Ensure clients rights and PHI are protected.
Qualifications :
High school diploma or GED required; associate degree in a related field is a plus. Previous experience working in behavioral health settings or with at-risk youth is preferred. Knowledge of behavior management and de-escalation techniques. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle high-stress situations calmly and effectively. Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to supporting the well-being of others.
Requirements :
Ability to work full-time including on-calls. High School Diploma or equivalent. CPR

Prefer one year's experience working with children. Must be 21 years of age and older. Must pass a physical examination, drug screen and TB Skin Test. Must pass an
MVR, DCF
fingerprint background, and KDADS background. Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
