Full Job Description Mental Health Technician Opportunity:

Full-Time and Part Time, 40 hours per week, Every other weekend required. 7am - 3pm and 11pm - 7am •Must attend a two week paid hospital orientation from 8:00am-4:30pm M-F• Mental Health Technicians provide routine non-acute physical care for the patient as well as educational groups based on needs identified in the Master Treatment Plan.

Job Duties Include:

Facilitates group activities tailored to the appropriate topic, age, and level of understanding as approved by the Program Coordinator. Ensures patients are consistently monitored in the proper location for the duration of activities. Provides appropriate crisis intervention as necessary by anticipating and responding quickly to escalating behaviors, utilizing de-escalation techniques to diffuse the situation, correctly prioritizing safety concerns.
