Overview We are seeking Recovery Specialists (residential technicians) to provide direct support and supervision to residents in our residential addiction treatment program. You will keep the house safe, structured, and supportive while clients do the work of early recovery. Day (7a-7p) and awake-overnight (7p-7a) positions are available. No prior treatment experience is required; we train. Key Responsibilities Provide continuous awake supervision of residents; complete rounds, head counts, and shift logs Observe and document client self-administration of medications per program policy Facilitate the daily schedule: wake-up, meals, chores, groups, recreation, and lights-out Monitor clients in withdrawal for changes in condition and escalate to nursing or the on-call provider immediately Respond to behavioral escalations using trauma-informed de-escalation techniques Conduct searches, belongings inventories, and admission/discharge support per policy Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive treatment environment Communicate effectively during shift handoffs with clinical and nursing staff Maintain accurate and timely electronic health record documentation Transport clients to appointments and outings in a facility vehicle Maintain professional boundaries while fostering dignity and respect Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED Age 21 or older with a valid driver's license and insurable driving record Ability to work 12-hour shifts on a rotating schedule including weekends and holidays; night shift requires staying awake and alert for the full shift Current BLS/CPR certification, or ability to obtain within 30 days (training provided) Reliable, adaptable, and calm under pressure EHR documentation proficiency preferred If in recovery, a minimum of two years of continuous recovery Preferred Qualifications Behavioral health, detox, residential, corrections, or direct-care experience Kentucky Adult Peer Support Specialist certification CPI or crisis intervention training

$15.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 36.0 - 40.0 per week
