Rehabilitation Technician Full-Time Opportunity Asbury Methodist Village | Gaithersburg, MD Benchmark Therapies is looking for a full-time Rehabilitation Technician to join our therapy team at Asbury Methodist Village, a welcoming senior living community in Gaithersburg, Maryland. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys helping others, staying active, and being part of a close-knit team . As a Rehab Tech, you'll play an important role in keeping the therapy department organized, prepared, and running smoothly so our therapists can focus on providing great care. You'll work alongside our physical, occupational, and speech therapy teams while getting to know the residents we serve and helping create a warm, positive experience throughout their time in therapy. What You'll Do Help keep the therapy department organized, welcoming, and running smoothly Prepare treatment areas and equipment for therapy sessions Assist with preparing residents for treatment under the direction of the therapy team Clean and maintain therapy equipment and treatment spaces Support the team with patient files, paperwork, scheduling, phone calls, emails, and other administrative tasks Monitor department supplies and assist with supply requests Maintain resident privacy and confidentiality Greet and assist residents, families, and team members with a friendly and helpful approach Pitch in wherever needed to support the day-to-day needs of the therapy department What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent Someone who is dependable, organized, and enjoys staying busy A friendly, patient, and compassionate approach when working with older adults Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities throughout the day Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Basic computer, phone, and administrative skills Willingness to learn and participate in training Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 lbs. and perform regular physical activity, including standing, walking, bending, and kneeling What We Offer Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off Six paid holidays 401(k) Life, disability, accident, and critical illness coverage Training and opportunities to learn and grow A supportive, team-oriented work environment The opportunity to work in a role where your support makes a meaningful difference for both residents and the therapy team Interested?
