The Mental Health Technician is a key position that provides direct patient care, monitors patient's physical and emotional needs, and administratively supports the program. This is an exciting position that is shared between the new Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation Clinic and the Older Adult Intensive Outpatient Program. This position allows for flexibility, creativity, and training. Responsibilities Assists in maintaining medical recordsPerforms Admissions/Insurance verification and BillingMonitors patient interactions and safetyProvides clerical support Assists in patient data collectionProvides patient information as a member of the interdisciplinary teamUtilizes knowledge of verbal and nonverbal communication skills to provide targeted therapeutic interventions with patients.
