Responsibilities:

•Monitor individual and milieu interactions; conduct safety rounds to ensure a safe environment and program attendance for all patients Confront and process inappropriate behavior; facilitate patient processing of immediate, in-the-moment thoughts and feelings Complete documentation in a timely manner consistent with all policies and procedures Monitor residents in the self-administration of prescribed medications and ensure medications are kept properly secured (Halfway House environment) Plan and facilitate therapeutic interactions, small group activities, and recreational programs Maintain supplies and equipment necessary to conduct group activities and assist in maintaining the therapeutic environment Communicate daily with clinical staff regarding relevant issues and participate in team meetings as required Maintain professional boundaries in relation to staff/patient interactions Evaluate and document effectiveness of intervention strategies Encourage patients to participate in 12 Step programs and philosophies Maintain a safe, clean environment and comply with regulatory agencies Communicate with respect and understanding of cultural, gender, and lifestyle differences Demonstrate safe work practices, follow safety rules, and participate in organizational safety programs Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

High School diploma or equivalent is required.

Work Experience:

Minimum of two years of personal recovery experience preferred. Some experience in the MH or SUD space preferred.

CERTIFICATION/LICENCES REQUIRED

Drivers License obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. with no DUI's or OWI's in the past 5 years Must be certified or obtain CPI certification within 120 days of employment and maintain current certification thereafter required. Basic Life Support Provider certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) to be acquired within 120 days of hire/transfer date required.
