$19.00/hour + up to $4.00/hour in shift differentials Earn up to $23.00/hour on weekend overnight shifts! $750 Retention Bonus About the Position Northland Recovery Center is seeking compassionate, dependable individuals to join our overnight team as Direct Care Technicians. This position primarily works with adult male clients receiving detoxification and residential substance use disorder (SUD) treatment services. As an Overnight Direct Care Technician, you will play an important role in supporting clients through the early stages of recovery while helping maintain a safe, structured, and supportive environment. You will work closely with nursing and counseling staff to promote client safety, wellness, and recovery. No previous experience in addiction treatment is required. We provide training for qualified candidates who are dependable, motivated, and interested in helping others. About Northland Recovery Center Northland Recovery Center provides medically monitored detoxification and residential substance use disorder treatment in a structured, therapeutic environment focused on client safety, dignity, and recovery.

Promoting hope and recovery through mutual respect, trust, and empowerment. Responsibilities Provide direct care and support to clients receiving detoxification and residential treatment services. Monitor and observe clients throughout overnight shifts. Administer medications within the scope of position, organizational policy, and training. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized treatment environment. Support client safety, structure, and daily programming. Complete accurate and timely documentation. Communicate effectively with nursing, counseling, and other treatment staff. Respond appropriately to client needs and emergencies. Minimum Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age. Ability to pass a Minnesota Department of Human Services background study. Valid driver's license with a good driving record. Responsible, dependable, mature, and self-motivated. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience in any of the following is helpful but not required: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Nurse Aide Nursing Assistant Home Health Aide Patient Care Assistant Nursing Assistant in Training (NAIT) Trained Medication Aide (TMA) Experience working in substance use disorder treatment or mental health services Qualified applicants without experience are encouraged to apply—we are willing to train the right candidate. Schedule This is an overnight position with a flexible schedule.

Typical shifts include:

7:00 PM

• 7:00 AM 8:00 PM
• 8:00 AM 11:00 PM
• 7:00 AM 12:00 AM
• 8:00 AM Both 12-hour and 8-hour shifts are available.

Compensation & Benefits Starting wage for certified professionals: $19.00/hour $3.00/hour overnight differential $1.00/hour weekend differential $750 retention bonus Paid training Opportunity to build experience in behavioral health, addiction treatment, and healthcare Supportive interdisciplinary team environment Starting wage for uncertified techs: $17.00/hour plus $2.00/hour overnight differential Additional Employment Requirements Applicants must be free from chemical use problems for at least two years prior to employment. Applicants must be discharged from Northland Recovery Center services for at least one year prior to employment. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background study and other pre-employment requirements.
