Experienced Senior Psychiatric Technician (BERT) - Atrium Health Pineville PT Days Advocate Aurora Health - 3.6 Charlotte, NC Job Details Part-time $20.80 - $31.20 an hour 18 hours ago Qualifications BLS Certification High school diploma or GED Full Job Description Essential Functions Observes, reports, and documents signs, symptoms or changes in patient behavior to charge nurse. Interacts with patients therapeutically. Assists, initiates, and participates in social and recreational activities, group therapy, patient teaching groups, and other group activities. Makes rounds on assigned patients as ordered. Monitors patients in seclusion/restraints and documents observations. Participates in unit-based process improvement activities. Documents observations in the clinical record. All mandatory training as per facility policy. Physical Requirements Works in patient care area, with potentially combative or self-destructive patients. Work requires walking, standing, lifting, reaching, handling of charts, supplies, equipment, blood, and body fluids. Demonstrates flexibility in changing workload. Education, Experience and Certifications High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree or certification from the American Association of Psychiatric Technicians for teammates promoted after 2017 required. 2 years of experience required. Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider (BLS HCP) from AHA required. CPI Certification required within 90 days of hire date.
