Location:
Presbyterian Medical Center Shift/Hours:
Full time, 5 days per week, 6:45am-3:15pm, 1 weekend per month The Psychiatric Tech is responsible for assisting with care of psychiatric patients from young adults up the age continuum through geriatrics under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse.
What You'll Do:
Education:
High School Diploma or GED, required. 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred.
Experience:
One year, preferred.
Licensure/Certification:
NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units, required. CNAI in NC, preferred. Additional Skills (preferred): Ability to perform all MOAB physical holds. Ability to care for Behavioral Health and Substance Abuse age specific patients within facility.
