Job Description

Overview Join our dedicated team as a Behavioral Health and Wellness Technician, where you will play a vital role in supporting adults with diverse behavioral health needs in an Adult Day Care setting. This position offers an opportunity to make a positive impact by providing compassionate care, implementing person-centered goals, and assisting with activities and opportunities for socialization, daily living skills, and promoting independence. You will work closely with clients to promote their well-being, safety, and progress in a supportive environment. Duties Assist clients with daily activities, ensuring their safety and comfort while promoting independence Monitor and document services provided and progress through accurate and timely service notes Provide transportation to and from the program, on community outings, and volunteer opportunities Serve as a valuable treatment team member designed to assist with developing person-centered plans tailored to each person's needs Skills Strong desire to work alongside adults with intellectual / developmental disabilities, and those needing support and encouragement to maintain their independence Excellent communication skills for social interactions, service documentation, and team collaboration Experience working with adults with intellectual / developmental disabilities in community-based settings This role is ideal for motivated individuals passionate about making a difference in the lives of people who are excited to be as independent as possible. Pay:
$15.00 - $16.00 per hour
