Position Summary Bright Path is seeking an empathetic, dependable, and team-oriented Mental Health Technician (MHT) to support our Teen Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). The MHT plays an essential role in supporting the daily therapeutic structure and maintaining a safe, compassionate, inclusive, and engaging environment for teens receiving treatment. This position is well suited for early-career professionals or students seeking hands-on experience in adolescent behavioral health. It offers meaningful exposure to multiple levels of care and the opportunity to make a positive impact each day. Responsibilities Support group facilitation alongside licensed clinicians Monitor attendance, engagement, and behavioral needs Help with daily check-ins, group flow, and support Maintain a safe, supportive environment for teens in care Qualifications Required High school diploma or equivalent Experience working with adolescents in behavioral health, education, childcare, coaching, mentoring or another youth development settings Strong communication, interpersonal, teamwork, and problem solving skills. Ability to maintain composure in challenging situations and model healthy emotional regulation Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and adapt to the needs of both PHP and IOP programming. Commitment to maintaining a safe, therapeutic, and inclusive environment Ability to protect client confidentiality and follow HIPPA and organizational policies. Willingness to complete required training, including CPR/First Aid and crisis-prevention training. Preferred Bachelor's degree or current enrollment in psychology, social work, human services, education, or a related field. Experience supporting adolescents with mental health or behavioral needs. Previous experience in PHP/IOP, residential, or inpatient mental health settings Familiarity with trauma-informed care principles and evidence-based interventions CPR/First Aid certification What Sets Bright Path Apart At Bright Path, we lead with heart.
