Residential Night Worker CURA Inc - 3.0 Newark, NJ Job Details $18.00 - $18.02 an hour 11 hours ago Qualifications Health screenings Physical security log maintenance Maintaining an organized workspace House cleaning assistance Resident personal care assistance Housekeeping assistance Routine inspections De-escalation techniques Emergency response in crisis intervention Personal grooming assistance Incident report writing Clean workspace maintenance Toxicology and drug testing Physical security incident reporting Physical security emergency response Entry level Full Job Description Key Responsibilities Monitor clients throughout the night to ensure safety, compliance, and well-being Conduct routine room checks and facility rounds at scheduled intervals Enforce house rules, curfews, and program policies consistently Document all activities, incidents, and observations in shift reports/logs Respond promptly to emergencies, including medical, behavioral, or facility-related issues Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation when needed Ensure the facility remains secure (locking doors, monitoring entrances/exits) Administer breathalyzer or drug screenings if required by program policy Communicate relevant information to incoming staff during shift handoff Support clients with basic needs during overnight hours (e.g., hygiene items, addressing concerns) Maintain cleanliness and organization of common areas as needed 11pm to 7am
