Full Time, Monday - Friday 9a- 5:30p. This position is eligible for applicable shift pay differentials. Provide care and support to patients across all recovery programs, ensuring a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment. This role includes medical observation support, patient monitoring, and coordination of wellness-based programming such as gym, outdoor leisure, and personal care services. This position plays a key part in promoting physical health, routine, and recovery-oriented engagement within treatment milieu.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
Open, close, and actively monitor scheduled gym times for patients Provide non-clinical emotional support and maintain a therapeutic milieu Ensure safe supervision and adherence to facility and clinical guidelines during gym use Schedule, coordinate, and observe structured outdoor leisure time activities Review all clearance forms to confirm medical and psychiatric clearance prior to gym and pool access Maintain accurate documentation, entering notes of patient participation in gym, pool, and wellness activities Coordinate patient salon and grooming appointments, ensuring scheduling aligns with treatment programming and unit flow Ensure patients and clinical staff are aware of patient appointments for salon Monitor appropriate behavior and safety during wellness activities and escalate concerns per protocol Collaborate with the Fitness and Wellness Specialist Printing and collecting gym sign-in sheets Assistwith weekly cycling programs and other programs as assigned Report any equipment or pool issues to appropriate staff Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and participate in treatment team meetings Maintain a safe and caring environment, delivering care in a culturally sensitive manner and consistent with Wellbridge mission,vision, and values
PROGRAM AND UNIT RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide patient education, including Wellness Orientation and review of rules, regulations Provide non-clinical emotional support and maintain a therapeutic milieu Support crisis intervention and de-escalation; assist during medical/psychiatric emergencies as directed Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and participate in treatment team meetings Maintain timely and accurate documentation of all interventions, observations, and incidents Oversee and document appropriate useof the Wellness Center Implement and reassess mitigation strategies to ensure patient and staff safety

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
For patient care needs, this is an on-site role requiring consistent presence on unit and movement throughout facility spaces. Frequent verbal and electronic communication with staff and patients. Use of basic office equipment including computer and phone systems for documentation and coordination.
QUALIFICATIONS
