Your Role & Impact Our Berea residential campus provides vital, out-of-home care for boys and girls facing complex trauma, mental health needs, and academic or emotional struggles. As a Youth Care Specialist, you will: Provide safe, trauma-informed care for high-risk youth. Partner with caregivers and placing agencies to transition youth back home safely. Help empower the 26,000 Ohioans we serve annually across our diverse programs. Role Requirements High School Diploma or GED minimum 1+ years of experience working with high-risk/at-risk youth, corrections, or mental health populations. Ability to pass a free pre-employment screening (fingerprint background check, physical, TB test, and drug screen). Driver's license and car insurance Preferred Qualifications Associate or bachelor's degree in psychology, Social Work, Mental Health, Criminal Justice, or Youth Development. Strong understanding of adolescent development, crisis intervention, and trauma-informed care. Questions?
