Mental Health Technician - Night Shift

Job Description

SpringVale Health Centers, Inc. is a local non-profit provider of behavioral health, substance abuse, primary/dental care, and pharmacy services has an opening for a part-time Mental Health Technician in a 5-bed voluntary crisis stabilization unit. As a Tech, you will assist in the daily activities, provide direct care to meet individual treatment goals, and provide Crisis Intervention services. This primary responsibility for this role is weekend night shifts along with some holiday/vacation coverage. Ideal candidates will be passionate about helping others while maintaining a positive and energetic attitude as well as possess the desire to make a difference within the agency and local community. Must have effective communication skills in both person and on the telephone to meet the needs of the crisis intervention process.

Qualifications:

Bachelor or Associate Degree in mental health-related field or high school diploma with 2 years relevant mental health experience.
