Overview We are excited to announce the opening of a new youth psychiatric facility dedicated to providing specialized mental health services for adolescents and young adults. We are seeking four qualified Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our dedicated team and begin CPI (crisis intervention prevention) training next week. This role offers an opportunity to work within a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment committed to delivering compassionate, evidence-based care tailored to the unique needs of youth with behavioral health challenges. The successful candidates will play a vital role in supporting mental health treatment plans, ensuring patient safety, and fostering a therapeutic environment conducive to recovery and growth. Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to youth patients, including medication administration, vital sign monitoring, and physical assessments. Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, and case managers to develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Assist in managing acute behavioral episodes and ensure safety protocols are strictly followed. Document patient progress accurately within electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner. Support therapeutic activities by maintaining a calm environment and engaging with patients in a respectful manner. Conduct triage assessments for new admissions and ongoing patient evaluations. Educate patients and their families about treatment processes, medication management, and coping strategies. Maintain infection control standards through aseptic techniques and proper sterilization procedures. Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and ongoing training sessions to enhance clinical skills. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of all patient information. Qualifications Valid Oregon RN license in good standing Prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral health needs preferred. Familiarity with electronic health record systems such as Epic, Cerner, or similar EMR/EHR platforms. Knowledge of psychiatric medications, including psychotropic agents used in adolescent populations. Experience in crisis intervention, trauma-informed care, or acute care settings such as emergency rooms or inpatient units is highly desirable. Strong assessment skills with the ability to recognize signs of acute distress or deterioration. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and families. Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Commitment to providing culturally competent care within an inclusive setting. Pay:

$53.00 - $55.00 per hour Application Question(s): Do you have an OR RN license with at least 5-6 months of experience after obtaininig RN license? Do you have availability to work full time? This is prefferred but not required Are you available for 12 days of training through 3 weeks starting next week? This is mandatory, no other training days will be offered
